Day 51

Grandpa came to visit!!! The kids couldn't get enough of him. My daughter constantly had him listening to her "ipod" (still only 3 songs on it). And my son, ripped open his early b-day present without anyone paying attention. He played with it almost the entire time. They also watched a movie, and my little guy kept playing footsies with Grandpa. So funny!

Day 50

We went to get sister from school. There was some major snow coming down. My little man was laughing and kept saying "it tickles, it tickles!" He's so sweet :)
Then when school was out, me and the 2 kids had a quick snowball fight! It was awesome! Glad they are better.

Day 49

Still sick... but she was so happy because Grandma & Grandpa sent her an "ipod." She got one for christmas, but it didn't work. This is her replacement. I only put 3 songs on it for now, and she listened to them over and over, and wanted everyone else to listen as well. It was cute to see how happy she was!

Day 48

Tuesday morning she woke up with a headache. I checked her head and she had a fever. She's been hanging out at home waiting for the fever to pass. She also shared her illness with her brother so they have been playing together, watching movies together, and coloring together. (But he refused to be in the picture)

Day 46

We had a very full Valentine's Day. First I made treats for my daughter's school party. Next my son had a party with all his little friends-thanks to my fantastic friend for hosting last second so I didn't have to clean my house. After that we went to my daughter's school and helped with her party. After school we went to the last day of gymnastics (a tear might have rolled down my daughter's cheek). Lastly, me and the hubs went on a date to Outback! It was so delicious. And we had a reservation, so we didn't have to wait the hour like all the others. We felt like celebs as we walked by everyone who gave us dirty looks cuz we took their spot :) And a shout out to my wonderful friend who watched the kiddos so we could go out!

Day 45

I love him! He's such an amazing man, and although at times we drive eachother bonkers, I know my Heavenly Father helped me find this incredible guy! Some reasons I love him:
1. He is goofy and makes me laugh, or roll my eyes cuz of his cheesiness.
2. He is very sweet and comforts me when I have my breakdowns.
3. He is extremely trustworthy and loyal.
4. He is a wonderful daddy.
5. He is a great example of kindness and love.
6. He honors the covenants we made to eachother when we were married.
7. He tries to help those in need.
8. He helps me work on being a better person.
9. He provides for our family, so I can stay at home.
10. He has an awesome testimony of the church and instills this in our children.
11. He can make KILLER french toast.
12. He makes sure I get time to myself so I don't go crazy.
13. He has a contagious smile.
