Day 145

It's the last week of preschool... and it's at my place. These kids are so cute, and fun! (but I am glad I don't have to teach anymore)

Day 144

WOW! My life's been crazy hectic (as always). I may go back and post pictures from the last month (but seeing how I haven't caught up from my Vegas trip, I probably won't). So I'll let you know some of the things we've been up to: My birthday, I took a trip to Miami to visit my sister, my hard drive crashed and burned (I had to pay lots of money to get the last 5 years worth of pictures extracted from it), my credit card number was stolen and used to purchase items over in the UK, I got strep & pink eye, some birthday parties, beautiful spring weather, another calling for church (I get to plan monthly activities for the women), babysitting for friends, and trying to keep up on schoolwork for my daughter.

And now today: my husband had the day off because he has to work Saturday. I went to the Police Department (to file a report about my credit card) and ran into my BF with her kids. So I stole her parking spot and got time left on the meter (woohoo!). While I was downtown seeing all our lovely transient people, Daddy took our little man and they both got haircuts. They look so studly! We did a Costco run, now we'll ride bikes and pick little Miss up from school, do a little bowling, plant our garden, clean the house, and call it a night.

Day 134

Daddy decided to let the kids hang out in the backyard, in the tent. He set it up and the kids got all moved in. They wanted me to come check it out, and that's when I noticed the mold :( So I took a quick picture and then they got out. We left it up to clean it, but then got a HUGE wind storm. The next day it blew out of our backyard, and down to the neighbor's house. And now it's in our garage, and we still haven't cleaned it (haha.... that's how we roll)

Day 111

My life is CRAZY BUSY right now. And to add to the stress... both the kids are feeling ill :(

Day 110

So I opened up my birthday card from my mom & stepdad today (yes, I snuck into my presents early). Inside was a gift certificate to a company that you can create digital scrapbooks. I was so excited!!! I started going through old photos (since I haven't scrapbooked ANYTHING). I decided that I'd work on my daughter's first year of life, but everything is on film and I'm gonna have to scan photos. So I ditched that idea (too much work for me right now) and moved onto my son's first year of life. I came across this photo and it made me smile. Sometimes when I think of him as a baby, I just remember him being grumpy. So I thought it was awesome that I had one of him happy. Plus when he was born he had lots of birthmarks, and most of them have faded now, but in this picture you can see them. I do have to admit seeing this photo made me a little sad though because my kids really have grown up. They aren't so little anymore :(
As a side note... if any of you have pictures of the first few months of his life, can you pass them along? I can't find anything from the hospital to 3 months.

Day 109

The kids decorated our tree outside with Easter eggs. Yesterday we got lots of snow (it didn't stick), and I had to snap a picture because I've NEVER associated Easter with snow. Gotta love the crazy weather here :)

Day 107

This is our little guy's zucchini plant. He got seeds from preschool and the teacher planted it for them. We've been taking care of it, and keeping it indoors till it warms up a little more. But it was getting too big for it's last pot, so we switched it to a bigger one. Daddy's awesome like that :)

Day 106

Daddy took the kids to the store to buy Easter eggs. We have a Easter egg hunt tomorrow and we have to bring some eggs filled with candy. So the kids prepared them :)

Day 104

My kids have loved the weather the last couple days. We've got to the park several times, done walks, and played outside. Today my daughter played hopscotch... but a little later the rain came and washed away the chalk.

Day 103

We decided to do swim lessons and they started today :)
